The National Monuments Service's description
In improved pasture, on a NE-facing slope. Reported to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland as an extant mound. Well defined sub-oval area (dims. 6.5m NNE-SSW; 5.5m ESE-WNW) defined by low bank (overall Wth 2.65m; Wth at top 0.85m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.2m) SE->SW and scarp (Wth 1.5m; H 0.6m) elsewhere. Scarp (Wth 1.5m; H 0.2m) is poorly defined on W side. Large stones visible in bank at S. Interior is grass covered with occasional small to medium sized stones on the surface and has slight tilt downslope to NE. This monument is very regular in plan and may possibly have been modified over time. No potential feature depicted at this location upon OS historic mapping.
