The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, built into a gentle NE-facing slope. The front wall (Wth 4.7m; H 2.7m) faces N and has a central pointed arched recess (Wth 1.45m; H 0.9m). The recess is partially blocked by a build-up of soil. The kiln has a stone-lined funnel (diam. 1.2m; D c. 2m).
