The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a gentle S-facing slope, c. 100m NW of Ballyhar House. A circular area (28m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 8.6m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.55m) SW-SE. The S arc is truncated by an E-W field boundary. The interior slopes gently down to the S. Trees are indicated in the interior of the rath on the 1894 OS 6-inch map and a rectangular tree planted area is indicated at this location on the 1846 OS 6-inch map. This is the possible location of a children's burial ground (KE058-104----). There are two raths (KE058-028----, KE058-029----) c. 200m to the W and c. 170m to the NW, respectively.
