The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a low hillock. A roughly circular area (diam. c. 28m) defined by an arc of an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.6m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.95m) E-SSW and by a scarp elsewhere. The interior slopes from the centre down to the S and N. A rock and rabbit burrows were noted in the centre of the interior. There is a possible souterrain (KE058-098001-) in the interior. The rath is indicated as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on the 1846 OS 6-inch map and as an oval enclosure (c. 25m NW-SE; c. 20m NE-SW), open at NE, on the 1894 OS 6-inch map.
