The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a W-facing slope. A roughly circular area (30m N-S) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The denuded inner bank (Wth 3.35m; int. H 1.25m; ext. H 0.85m) is earthen with some stones evident. The fosse (Wth 3.6m) is covered with overgrowth in places. The earthen outer bank (Wth 3.3m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.4m) is evident all round with some stone-facing at N. The interior is lightly covered with overgrowth and there is a rectangular depression (L c. 2m x 1m) in the NW quadrant. There is a possible entrance (Wth c. 1m through the inner bank; Wth c. 1.5m through the outer bank) at NE. Numerous gaps occur in both banks. This is probably one of two raths (see KE058-107----) which was mentioned in the 1840s as being in the N end of Glebe townland (OSNB, Kilcummin, no. 2, 16).
