The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, at the edge of a ridge, on a SW-facing slope. A circular area (26m E-W) defined by traces of a low bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.05m) E-SE and WNW-NW and by a scarp SE-WNW. A linear NW-SE road truncates the rath NW-E. This rath is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) which abuts a NW-SE road at NE. On the 1894 OS 6-inch map it is truncated at NE by the road. This is probably the rath recorded in the 1840s as deriving its name from 'an old condemned road' which was within 'two chains of it on the E side' (OSNB, Kilcredane, 19). A second rath (KE058-013----) lies c. 180m to the W.
