The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, to the SE of a farmyard, on a SW-facing slope. This rath is not visible at ground level. According to the landowner, prior to being levelled it had two enclosing banks and was partially levelled in the 1970s and the remainder was levelled in the mid-1990s. It is indicated on the 1894 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) which is surrounded externally by a field boundary. Excavation in 1995 of a small portion of the NE section of the rath that appeared to have been undisturbed, revealed nothing of archaeological significance (Bennett 1996, 42).
