The National Monuments Service's description

In the 1940s, 'a cave and underground passage' were recorded in Rosnacartan Beg which were said to connect two raths, one on Mr Mack's land and the other (KE057-089----) on Mr Clifford's land (ITA). Though Mr Mack's rath was described as a 'semi-circular one-bank fort', it cannot be established which of two raths (KE057-091----, KE057-092----) in the townalnd it is as both are now levelled. This possible souterrain therefore remains unlocated.
