The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, at the edge of a field, just above the valley of a stream to the W. A horseshoe-shaped mound (7.5m N-S; c. 6.5m E-W; H 0.75m) with the opening facing W. According to local information, the disturbed area in the SE portion is a result of ploughing. The mound is eroded on the W side where burnt material (D 0.55m) is exposed in section. A possible fulacht fia (KE057-116----) lies c. 150m to the S.
