The National Monuments Service's description
Hitchcock noted that this ogham stone served as a hearth-slab in the kitchen of Baunclune House (RIA MS 24 E 13). Its dimensions were recorded as 4 feet 5 inches (1.35m) x 1 foot 11 inches (.59m) x 9 inches (.23m). Using Hitchcock's drawing of the stone, Macalister (1945, 213) read the worn inscription as:
QAM . . . ROMACULLO
Moore, however, notes that there is no indication of the second A in Hitchcock's drawing (1981, 217). The stone appears to have been destroyed, and it is not considered to have been associated with the four other ogham stones from Whitefield (KE057-107001-).
