The National Monuments Service's description

In the 1940s 'a pile of stones' on a ridge to the S of a 'very tall gallaun' (KE057-095----) was recorded in the Farranmanagh district (Minutes of the Co. Kerry Field Club, 1943, vol. 1, 450). The precise location of this possible cairn is not known and it may be in that part of the townland on OS 6-inch map 47.
