The National Monuments Service's description
Not marked on the OS maps, an irregular field boundary marks the location of this enclosure. It survives as a subcircular depression, 21m N-S x 28m E-W. At its S end are visible the roofing lintels of an inaccessible souterrain (KE057-073001-) which curves towards NW.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 834. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
