The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a break on a S-facing slope. A roughly circular area (32m E-W; 30m N-S) defined by intermittent and poorly preserved sections of a bank (Wth 1.65m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.45m) NW-SE, by a nearly linear scarp (H c. 1m) SE-SSW and truncated by a SSE-NNW field boundary on the W side. The scarp and the field boundary appear to truncate the rath to the S and W, respectively. A roughly circular marshy area (diam. c. 5m) occupies the centre of the level interior. This rath is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) which is truncated by a lane at W. A souterrain (KE057-043001-) is associated with this rath.
