The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a SE-facing slope. A raised circular area (diam. 36m) defined by two earthen banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank (Wth 7.15m; int. H 2.4m; ext. H 2.15m) is visible NW-ENE and a scarp (H 1.25m) is evident ENE-SW. The fosse (Wth 4.4m) is visible NW-SW and is infilled SW-NW with earthen material, probably from the levelled section of the inner bank. The outer bank (Wth 4m; int. H 1.5m; ext. H c. 1.3m) is evident all round except for a wide gap along the NNW arc. Trees grow along both banks. The interior slopes down to the SE. Field boundaries radiate from the NNW and N arcs of the outer bank.
