The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a hillock overlooking the Laune river, this standing stone inclines very heavily to NE. It measures 3.55m long, 1.8m wide and .95m thick; NW-SE. Numerous small stones occur around its base.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 131. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
