The National Monuments Service's description
This shell midden was located on the N facing shore-line a short distance W of the landward end of Cromane Spit and c. 1.2km S of KE055-002----. It was composed of cockle, mussel and limpet shells and measured 1.4m long and up to .1m thick. Occurring at a depth of .5m below the top of the sand-face, it was eroded away by 1994.
