The National Monuments Service's description
Possible promontory fort described in 2002 as follows; ‘North of a small cove the adjacent headland also shows slight signs of having been defended by two low earthen banks and ditches with a central causeway. Most of the interior of this fort has disappeared' (Casey 2002, 36).
