The National Monuments Service's description

Cahernacummeen/Cathair an Choimín: Roughly circular cashel KE054-069---- is located about 225m NE of KE054-075----.

A roughly oval hut foundation (KE054-069002-) in the W part of the interior measures 3.7m N-S x 2.8m E-W internally, and the drystone-built wall stands to a maximum height of .7m. No clearly defined entrance is preserved but there are small niches in the inner face at N and W.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 561. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
