The National Monuments Service's description

This tomb is situated on gently sloping ground on the SE side of the mountain ridge overlooking Minard Bay. It consists of a narrow wedge-shaped gallery 3.5m long x .6m wide, orientated N-S. There is a portico at the S separated from the main chamber by a septal-stone. The E side is represented by 2 stones and the W side by 6 stones; the backstone is pitched inwards. A partly exposed stone to the W of the gallery may be the remains of outer-walling. A single roofstone covers the S end of the chamber. There are traces of a low mound to the E and W of the gallery.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 36. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
