The National Monuments Service's description
There is no visible trace of the circular univallate enclosure marked on the 1st edition of the OS map. It was located on the N side of the E end of the Sea Hill ridge, commanding an excellent view over the Lispole valley.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 703. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
