The National Monuments Service's description

Cuppage (1986, 216, no. 610) recorded a possible souterrain in one of three raths (KE053-030----, KE053-031----, KE053-032----) in Ballintaggart townland. Its precise location is not known. Possible souterrain described by Cuppage (1986, 216, no. 610) as follows; 'This circular univallate ringfort is located on the E side of Dingle Harbour and has been trisected by field walls. The enclosing bank is only barely discernible and the enclosure measures c. 30m in external diameter. A souterrain was apparently found in either this fort or 606 or 607 (local information)'.
