The National Monuments Service's description
Bull's Head promontory is an extensive headland which projects SW into Dingle Bay.
Extending W from the walls along both sides of the central ridge and on its summit are at least 14 hut-sites (KE053-085004-, KE053-085005-,KE053-085006-, KE053-085007-, KE053-085008-, KE053-085009-, KE053-085010-, KE053-085011-, KE053-085012-, KE053-085013-, KE053-085014-, KE053-085015-, KE053-085016 & KE053-085017-). In plan these range from sub-rectangular through oval to circular, and they vary in internal diameter from 2 to 6m. They are enclosed by the low remains of drystone walls or by stony banks, and many incorporate sections of the outcropping rock in their construction. Several of the structures are conjoined.
