Within ringfort (KE053-077----) and located to the N of another hut site (KE053-077001-), this structure survives as a stony bank enclosing an area 8m NE-SW x 5.5m NW-SE; it is open along the NE quadrant. One of four possible hut sites within ringfort (see also KE053-077001-, KE053-077004- and KE053-077005-).
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage (compiler) 'Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey.' Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne (1986), no. 393. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
