The National Monuments Service's description
The site of the circular univallate enclosure noted on the 2nd edition of the OS map is marked only by a slight depression c. 17m in diameter. It was situated on an E facing slope in rough open terrain.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 624. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
