This circular univallate rath is situated c. 175m N of KE053-028----. The earthen enclosing bank is a maximum of 2m high externally and 1.5m high internally. A 7m wide gap at SE, now blocked, marks the location of the original entrance, and there is a 2nd blocked-up gap at W.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 409. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
