The National Monuments Service's description
The site of the circular univallate enclosure noted on the 1st edition of the OS map is now marked only by a slight depression, c. 30m in diameter. Situated on a S facing slope, in good pastureland which is in the process of being improved.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 608. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
