The National Monuments Service's description
Inserted in the wall of the vestibule in the modern church at Dunquin is s stone with a circular depression, 0.26m in diameter and 0.15m deep. This may be the font which was visible at the E end of the old church (KE052-014001-) in 1841 (OSNB) or it may have been removed from Ballywiheen church (KE042-094003-) (local information) (Cuppage 1986, 366)
