The National Monuments Service's description

Internal diam. 23.5m E-W, 19.5m N-S
This cashel and clochauns are located on a S facing slope overlooking Dingle Bay. The enclosing wall is considerably collapsed and overgrown and has disappeared completely in the N quadrant where the enclosure is now defined by a step up of 1m to the external ground level. The collapsed wall is a maximum of 3m wide and 1.25m high. A 3m wide gap at ESE probably marks the location of the entrance.
The outlines of 2 circular huts are discernible in the interior, (1) abutting the wall at SW, and (2) conjoined to the N side of (1). The huts measured 6.5m x 5.5m and 6m in internal diameter respectively and their walls are now reduced to low, grass-grown, stony banks. A .75m wide gap now marks the location of a communicating passage between the 2 structures, but each also had an independent entrance facing ESE and SE respectively.

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 563. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
