The National Monuments Service's description
Loc an Chinn: On a small area of fairly level ground, on a generally W facing slope overlooking Coumeenoole bay. A group of 5 structures, the largest being roughly circular, 4 to 3.3m in diameter internally, but defined for the most part by only a single course of walling. The other structures, some still roofed, are small sheep-shelters.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1223. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
