Caherlea/An Chathair Léith: Situated on the lower E slopes of Mount Eagle, circular cashel KE052-030---- encloses a souterrain and possible traces of 2 huts.
The SW part of the interior is occupied by the low foundations of possibly 2 huts, but neither their precise shape or dimensions are discernible.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 539. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
