The National Monuments Service's description
A small irregularly-shaped enclosure situated about 250m from the sea-cliffs, about .8km N of Dunquin. It measures 8.5m E-W x 7.3m N-S internally and is enclosed by a grass-grown bank of stones, .8 to 1m high and 3m wide. There is a 3m wide entrance gap at E. Directly outside the entrance are 2 banks, of similar dimensions to the enclosure bank, which extend N-S for c. 13m, with a gap of .3m between them opposite the enclosure entrance.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1540. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
