The National Monuments Service's description

Ringfort (KE049-025001-) reused as a children's burial ground was described in 1986 by the Castleisland District Archaeological Survey as follows; 'Situated on top of a hill in an area of pasture. The interior of the ringfort was reused as a children's burial ground (KE049-025002-). Outline of ringfort clearly visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthophoto taken 03/02/2021. Annotated 'Burial Ground for Children' on 1841 ed. OSi 6-inch map.
