The National Monuments Service's description

In wet semi-circular basin, on a very gentle SW-facing slope. Area covered by rushes and long grasses and is fenced off from rest of field. Low, irregular rise of dark soil and heat shattered stone; edges could not be completely defined due to growth of vegetation and pooling of water underfoot. According to local information, this was found during land improvements when drains were inserted across this poorly drained area. This monument was recorded during the course of fieldwork.
