The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a gentle NNE-facing slope. A roughly circular area (diam. c. 34m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 1.35m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.25m) N-SSE and by a slight scarp (Wth 5.2m; max. ext. H 0.65m) WSW-N. The interior slopes down to the NNW. The remaining bank is incorporated into a field boundary system. There is a cattle break at E. The rath is indicated as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on the 1846 OS 6-inch map and as an oval enclosure (c. 40m N-S; c. 35m E-W), incorporated into the field boundary system, on the 1894 OS 6-inch map.
