The National Monuments Service's description

In a marshy area of rough pasture, on a gentle SSE-facing slope. This enclosure is indicated on the 1894 OS 6-inch map as an enclosed circular area (diam. c. 10m). A depression (c. 9m NNW-SSE; c. 7m WSW-ENE; D 0.3m) is visible in the area of the enclosure.
