The National Monuments Service's description
A ringfort in this field was apparently destroyed within living memory. It was constructed of earth and stone. A fairly level, roughly semi-circular platform, abutting the S side of the N field wall, may indicate its location. This measures 26m E-W x 20m N-S and is raised a maximum of c. 1.75m above the external ground level on the S downhill side. The perimeter is also raised slightly above the interior. Some of the heaps of stone which occupy the E part of the platform seem to be the remains of walls but are too confused for definite interpretation. The site lies on a fairly steep S facing slope overlooking Dingle Bay and Castlemaine Harbour.
