This is site no. 30 in Clare McMorran's thesis (NUIG). The area described in the report has been reclaimed, drained and re-seeded. No trace of the fulacht fia was found at ground level. The report also states: 'A single standing stone was recorded just north of this site however, no trace of it could be found during the visit'. The standing stone referred to is KE044-036---- and is marked as 'Gallaun' on the OS map and it is now gone.
