The National Monuments Service's description
This standing stone is located on a tract of good, well-drained land which slopes very gently W towards the Owenalondrig river. It measures 2.7m in height and 1.1m in width at base, and the sides rise fairly vertically for most of their height before converging almost to a point at top; ENE-WSW. It now inclines slightly to SW.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 111. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
