The National Monuments Service's description
Orpen (1908, 15) noted an ogham stone lying near the smithy outside Lispole. It had formerly served as a lintel over a stable door. According to Orpen the inscription 'originally cut very rudely, has been rendered more obscure by being chipped away'. The stone has not been located.
