The National Monuments Service's description

Internal diam. 23.5m.
Lisheenatullamush/Lisín an Tolamais: A sub-circular rath located on the E slopes of a low hill (611 feet/186m) that overlooks the Anascaul valley to W. It is enclosed by an earthen bank and fosse, and a 2nd outer bank is present along the E sector only. The latter is 1.2m wide and .8m high. The fosse is up to 1.75m deep, 2m wide and rises a maximum of 2.5m to the crest of the inner bank. The inner bank is a maximum of 1.4m high internally and is c. 3m wide. The SSE facing entrance is 1.5m wide and is defined on its E side by a single slab. The regular curve of the bank is interrupted at NW by an angled corner, and eroded gaps occur on either side of this. A c. 6m wide trackway skirts the inner edge of the bank along its N and E sides and exits through one of these latter gaps. An earth and stone mound, located in the SW part of the interior, contains 2 depressions which may represent hut-sites (KE044-062001- & KE044-062002-). The mound is c. 1.5m high and the depressions measure 6m x 4m x .75m deep and 2m in diameter x .75m deep.
