The National Monuments Service's description
Lismore/Lios Mór: Well-preserved circular rath KE044-059---- is located on level ground and has been bisected N-S by a roadway. Two possible hut-sites (KE044-059001- & KE044-059003-) are discernible in the interior but the souterrain (KE044-059002-) recorded by the KAS could not be located.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 379. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
