The National Monuments Service's description
This stone stands against the S side of an E-W field boundary, on a very gentle S facing slope at the foot of the central mountain ridge. It measures 1.83m in height and 1.36m x .4m at base; E-W. The W side rises almost vertically, but the E side exhibits a pronounced shoulder, only .2m above the ground, before tapering evenly towards the top.
