The National Monuments Service's description
Lisduff/An Lios Dubh: Roughly circular univallate rath KE044-042---- is situated about 150m N of KE044-041----, on level waste ground at the E side of a road.
The grass-grown foundations of a circular hut site, 6.5m in diameter, occupy the centre of the enclosure. Some earthfast boulders, near the W edge of the interior, may mark the site of a 2nd hut.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 452. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
