Triangular-shaped standing stone immediately to N of townland boundary with BAILE RISTÍN (Ballyrishteen), on  poorly drained mountainous region with commanding views to N.  Standing stone identified by Ina Doyle, not depicted on any edition of the OSi historic maps.
