The National Monuments Service's description
Orpen (1908, 12-3) discovered a single cup-and-circle on a rock at Ballinvownig. There is now no local knowledge of this stone and its exact location has not been identified.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 173. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
