This univallate rath is located on level ground at the inner edge of the broad low-lying valley that surrounds Trabeg. It lies at the junction of 3 (formerly 4) fields, and the enclosing element, now used as a field fence, has been modified and possibly completely replaced in parts. It is irregular in outline and consists of a combination of earthen bank, earthen bank with internal or external stone revetment and stone walling with an earthen core. It is a maximum of 1.35m high externally and 1.15m high internally, but the bank in the SSE sector rises only .1 to .2m above the interior. No clearly-defined entrance is preserved.
