The National Monuments Service's description
A standing stone situated on fairly level pastureland at the base of Knockmoylemore, overlooking to S the broad lowlying tract of land that surrounds Trabeg. It is 1.96m high, 1.53m wide and varies in thickness from .11m at the E side to a maximum of .66m towards the centre; ESE-WNW.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 75. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
