The National Monuments Service's description
Though no surface trace of this drystone-built souterrain survives, it was accessible within living memory. Situated on fairly level pastureland on the lower S slopes of Beennabrack, at the head of the valley which extends NE from Dingle town.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 737. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
