The National Monuments Service's description
On steep W slopes of Knockmoylemore mountain. A group of 6 circular corbelled drystone foundations, ranging in diameter from 1.65 x 1.9m to 3.2m. Two of the structures may have been built as booley huts, but the remainder were probably animal pens or shelters.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1159. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
