The National Monuments Service's description
On steep slopes of Beenduff. A large group of structures, most of which can be interpreted as animal pens or shelters, but including 2 or 3 corbelled drystone huts. (3) (KE043-117002-) Uphill and to SE of the latter sites. Circular structure with lintelled entrance at SE and lintelled opening into subterranean chamber at NW. Latter is rectangular in plan, 2.4m x 2m x .67m high, and roofed by a single large slab. D: 2.4m. H: 1.8m. T: 1m. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1080. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
